TRAINING & EVENTS TERMS & CONDITIONS

Changes to trainings and events

We endeavour to ensure all information we publish about our workshops, trainings and other services is accurate at the time of publication. We reserve the right to amend, change or vary any fee, charge, date, content, facilitators/presenter, course materials or resources as we think is necessary. We also reserve the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. 

 

Payments / refunds

All bookings for trainings or events are confirmed upon receipt of all relevant fees or charges. All payments must be received within one week of the training or event. All bookings will be treated as tentative until payment is received. We reserve the right to cancel bookings for failure to pay within one week of a training or event. All cancelled bookings will incur a cancellation fee. 

 

Substitution, transfer and cancellation fees

Substitution: you may substitute another person for any training or event free of charge (at least 48 hours’ notice before an event required).

 

Transfer: subject to availability, you may transfer to another training or event (at least 2 weeks’ notice before an event required). A fee of $150.00 (excl GST) applies to all transfers.

 

Cancellation: you may cancel a booking or registration for a training or event (at least 3 weeks’ notice before an event required). A fee of $250.00 (excl GST) applies to all cancellations.

Intellectual Property

All content including but not limited to training material, resources, trademarks, branding and other intellectual property is owned by the TÅ«hono Collective, jointly or collectively. You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, republish, display or perform any of the content without the express written consent of the copyright owner.

Privacy

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

·       Name

·       contact information

·       location

·       interactions with us

·       billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information in order for training, event and membership registration & database purposes.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at admin@laidlaw.co.nz

 

Applicable law

This site, our trainings, events and workshops are subject to the laws of New Zealand. This site may be accessed throughout New Zealand and overseas. We make no representations that the content of this site complies with the laws (including intellectual property laws) of any country outside New Zealand. If you access this site from outside New Zealand you do so at your own risk and are responsible for complying with the laws in the place where you access the site.
